“Tomorrow could be the most dangerous day of this century”: Bolt

Tomorrow could be the most dangerous day of this century, said Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, second in line to succeed the President if he dies, has confirmed that she will fly to Taiwan tomorrow,” Bolt said.

“Taiwan is an island off China and a democracy. But the Chinese dictatorship says it’s actually a renegade province, Chinese territory.

Mr Bolt said the Chinese military will “act” if Ms Pelosi travels to the island nation.

“In fact, China conducted live-fire exercises near Taiwan and sent one of its aircraft carriers from the south on Sunday, apparently to Taiwan,” he said.

“American warships are now ready behind Taiwan to offer protection.”

Mr Bolt discussed the issue with Australia’s North Asia correspondent, Will Glasgow.
