“I opened a house and played for about 10 minutes and when I got back to my house everyone got older. The kids are teenagers and the young adults are almost elders,” one player reported on the Sims Community Website.

A quality designer from The Sims 4 Live Operations team who passes by SimGuruNick also followed up on Twitter about the unintended side effects, writing, “Just wanted to acknowledge that wanting to date a family member is something we know, we’ve bred, we’re working on it.”

“We are looking to get it fixed as soon as possible, thanks for all the bug reports, we appreciate that,” he added.

One of the latest updates to the popular game also added the ability for players to choose your pronounsincluding they, she/her or he/him.
