Stephen Colbert mocks Eric Trump’s overly revealing defense of his father

After the FBI executed a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home earlier this week, the White House said Joe Biden had learned it like most people in the country ― by watching the news. But Eric Trump claimed Biden must have personally approved of the FBI’s actions. After all, that’s how his father did things.

This comment prompted Colbert to come out with his impression of Eric Trump.

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my father’s tenure, it’s that the president definitely interferes with the Justice Department,” Colbert said. “Nothing, no, I’m serious. I’m serious as a heart attack. Nothing happens without his approval… except me.
