PRIANKA CHOPRA and her baby girl, Malti Marie Jonas, have officially hit a milestone on the journey together. The Quantico The star recently gave a speech at the United Nations General Assembly and took eight-month-old Malti with her to the big city.
“Our first trip to the grown-ups,” the proud mom captioned her Instagram. Above, Chopra posted two photos of herself with baby Malti. In the first photo, Chopra is seen sitting by a windowsill with Malti – facing the camera – on her lap.
Malti watches the city’s high street from the window while Chopra gazes lovingly at her daughter. The second image shows a close-up of Chopra looking directly into the camera, while Malti continues to stare out the window.
This post got fans talking as it’s the first time Chopra has posted a photo of her adorable baby girl this month. As many fans remember, Chopra and husband Nick Jonas conceived baby Malti through a surrogate.
Malti had spent the first 100 days of her life in the NICU. So, on Mother’s Day, the couple couldn’t help but rejoice at being able to bring their little girl home. At the time, they said in a statement: “We can’t help but reflect on the past few months and the roller coaster we’ve been on, that we now know, that so many people have also been on.
“After over 100 days in the NCU, our baby girl is finally home.”
Since then, the two have thrived as new parents.
According to a source, they are “a very happy couple who are thriving, having fun and still living their lives”. They work hard, do business, organize social events and take care of Malti.
As for the subject of Chopra’s speech at the UN, the Unicef ambassador spoke about the climate crisis and how global solidarity is crucial in tackling this issue.
