Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan felt like ‘demagogy’

US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan felt like “grandfathering”, said Leisa Goddard of Adoni Media.

“We know Taiwan is a sensitive issue,” she told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.

“What he did is put on a schedule, so Beijing is now agitated. He’s aggravated and he said… he’s taking action. So it’s now heightening the alert for everyone around Taiwan.

“We’re going through a very precarious time right now and Pelosi – when she may have had every right to go – everything she’s done, I think, is brought to a very precarious and dangerous time in our near future.”
