Olivia Cooke Says She Had a Hangover and Broke a Tooth Before ‘House Of The Dragon’ Filming

Olivia Cooke shares details of the drunken night she had before her first day of filming HBO”game of thrones“prequel”,House of the Dragon.

During a Tuesday appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the 28-year-old revealed she had a massive hangover on her first day on set.

“I was hungover,” she confessed to Kimmel ahead of her series debut on Sunday. “Really bad, actually. Really bad.”

Cooke, who plays Queen Alicent in the fantasy series, told her that her drinking night was so bad she ended up chipping a tooth.

The actress said it all started when she appeared in British comedian Alan Carr. Podcast “Life is a beach” the night before, when the couple treated themselves to too many glasses of wine.

“I never do that, but there’s this comedian in England that I love, Alan Carr, and he has a podcast. He invited me to be on the podcast, and I was very excited.

As her on-set call wasn’t until 11 a.m. the next day, the star admitted she decided to bring “a bottle of wine just as a gesture” for Carr but didn’t expect what happened. then happened.

“The podcast is over, and we’re just chatting, chatting, chatting. He’s been gossiping loads to me. More wine, more wine, more wine,” Cooke said.

After all the gossip and wine, before she knew it, she was drunk.

“I don’t remember coming home. I remember I lowered my head to put my hair in a pony, I fell,” she said.

The next day, the actor woke up to find she had chipped a tooth.

“Very faint sheen, but enough for the tongue to magnify it. And you’re like, ‘What have I done?’ No one knew where seven was, until now,” Cooke said.

Tuesday, Carr posted on video of himself reacting to his appearance on Kimmel’s show.

“That’s not like me!!! I love you @livkatecooke don’t forget Lifes A Beach,” he captioned the post alongside a slew of emojis, including wine glasses and laughing faces.

Seemingly with no regrets, Cooke responded to her post, writing, “ahahahahahahaha! worth it.”

“House of the Dragon” airs Sundays on HBO.
