LeBron James debuts spectacular new look – but fans are wondering if it’s real

The NBA icon sent the internet into a frenzy on Tuesday after share a photo of him looking cheerful in a barber chair with a seemingly shaved bald head in his Instagram Stories.

For years, James’ hair has been the most affected by memes, with the ballplayer once laughing at meme who compared her thinning hair to a cup of Reese’s peanut butter that got stuck to the wrapper.

Following his alleged unveiling, fans on Twitter quickly rushed to congratulate the Lakers star on his new look, with “Bald Brown” trending on Twitter hours after James dropped the viral photo on his account.

“Welcome to [the] bald my brother, we were waiting for you”, a user wrote. ”@KingJames Sometimes we have to let our hair down to find true peace and comfort. Now your beard is going to be the star of the show, let it shine.

another user said: “James eventually went bald. He’s about to win MVP,” alongside a laughing emoji.

“Bald Bron is the last form of greatness…as a bald man for 21 years, we should have a #BaldAwarenessMonth,” a user added.

But some weren’t so quick to believe the star’s new look.

A large number of fans began to question the validity of James’ hairstyle and raised the possibility that he used a filter to digitally trick people into thinking he had gone bald.
