The Orlando Pirates confirmed the signing of talented Marumo Gallants midfielder Ndabayitethwa Ndlondlo on Thursday.
Ndlondo joins Pirates with just hours before the transfer window closes.
The midfielder’s signing comes as no surprise to this website as Mgosi Squad have previously reported Bucs’ interest in the midfield maestro.
The midfielder became a Buccaneer after ending a spell with Marumo Gallants, where he was an influential player for the club for the past two seasons.
Ndlondlo called his move to Pirates a dream come true and he believes he will make a valuable contribution to the club.
“I’m happy to be here. It’s a dream come true for me. With the window closing today, I didn’t think a move would happen, but football is an unpredictable game, everything is I speak to you today as an Orlando Pirates player,” the midfielder told the club’s website.
“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone at Marumo Gallants. To the players, coaches and management, thank you for these wonderful years…and to the fans, you will always have a place in my heart. As I have already said, it’s a dream to be here and I can’t wait to join my new teammates. I come here with the aim of making a significant contribution to this great institution,” he concluded.
The 27-year-old will surely be missed at Gallants, as the midfielder helped the side lift the Nedbank Cup in the 2020/21 season while still campaigning as Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
