Known for the critically acclaimed series, “The Family Man”, on rival platform Amazon Prime Video, Raj & DK are already the showrunners and directors of Netflix’s upcoming comedy thriller series, “Guns & Gulaabs “, a story of love and innocence in a world of crime, a nostalgic tale of all kinds of firsts, from first love to first murder.
The duo also produced last year’s hit Telugu film, “Cinema Bandi”, which is currently streaming on Netflix.

We are excited to continue our relationship with them for a multi-year creative partnership that will bring exceptional entertainment to Netflix members around the world,” said Monika Shergill, VP of Content, Netflix India.
With the deal in place, all new projects, developed and created by the duo will be available on Netflix, but it will not include previously announced projects with other streamers, including ‘Farzi’ star Shahid Kapoor, who will be streamed in Prime Video, and consecutive seasons of existing series.

Last year, Netflix entered into a similar partnership with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s
Entertainment, the banner behind films like “Dil Chahta Hai”, “Rock On”, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and the “Don” franchise.
