Bespoke Tailored Clothing: MTailor

MTailor is a fashion startup offering men and women custom clothing made from measurements taken with their smartphone cameras. The company uses proprietary technology, which combines machine learning, computer vision and massive datasets to create garments that are perfectly tailored to each wearer.

Unlike other bespoke tailoring platforms, MTailor takes 52 measurements per person, which it then uses to make bespoke, made-to-order pieces. Currently, the company produces a particularly wide range of items, including dress shirts, suits, polo shirts, shorts, pants and dresses.

Additionally, what makes MTailor so unique is that it uses the LiDAR scanner built into the iPhone 12 and iPad Pro models to provide the “most accurate body measurement system ever”; using LiDAR, the platform is able to provide accurate body measurements down to half an inch.
