5 shot down at Milwaukee after combat; arrested woman

Milwaukee police said they arrested a woman who was also the fifth gunshot victim near 13th and Fiebrantz.

Milwaukee police say five people are recovering from gunshot wounds after a fight that escalated into gunfire. Police say the shooting began at 8:14 p.m. on N 13th Street near Fiebrantz. Three men, aged 25, 26 and 31, and a woman, 67, were injured. All four should survive. When asked if anyone was in custody, Milwaukee Police Capt. Warren Allen replied, “We know who we’re looking for.” Just before midnight, Milwaukee police said there was a fifth gunshot victim, a 26-year-old woman who was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries. Police added that this fifth victim was also arrested and charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
